Greatly enhances their flavor. In a large heavy frying pan, dry roast sunflower seeds over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until seeds are a golden brown. Set aside to cool.

Not much else to add, other than they are great in bread, and that I didn't see any bits of peel in the bag (a good bonus as those frequently happen with shelled seeds).
