America's favorite & original organic crispy brown rice cereal
What matters most is what's inside...the box: We believe pure ingredients taste better and are naturally nutritious, so that's what we use.
We take whole grains of U.S grown organic brown rice and blend them with a touch of barley malt and sea salt to enhance the natural flavor of the whole grain. Then, we cook the rice and puff it to its crispy best. Created in the 60's you've found the original organic Crispy Brown Rice cereal.
Since 1966, Erewhon has led the organic revolution and we remain passionately committed to providing the purest organic foods. Like many people today, you might actually find yourself wary of packaged foods. “If what you eat is good, and pure, and true to its source, all else will follow". This philosophy shaped Erewhon organic cereals. The name Erewhon (Air-wahn) comes from a 19th century novel by Samuel Butler. Erewhon was a utopia where each person was responsible for her/his own health, something we strive to make possible with Erewhon organic cereals.
Enjoy by the bowl, sprinkled over yogurt or in your favorite treat recipe.

iHerb Customer Reviews
I like Erewhon cereals because they don't add sugar. The sweetener comes from better sources like barley malt. These are like healthy rice crispies. They make great rice crispy treats and I like to mix a whole box of them in with my home made granola after its cooled to lighten it up and make it less caloric dense. I also add a box of Erewhon Raisin Bran to up the fiber content.
Personally, I feel as though this product is the best "Puffed Rice" product on the market. it has flavor, does not immediately get soggy in the milk, and is just generally good. I like it with coconut milk over it.
