Undecylenic acid - potent fatty acid support of healthy gut and vaginal flora
Optimal gastrointestinal tract functioning is vital to the absorption of nutrients, elimination of waste, and proper immune function. Many health-care practitioners consider gut function and especially good gut ecology – maintaining a healthy balance of gut flora, the microorganisms that normally live in the digestive tract – to be a key component to overall health. Many situations can contribute to an imbalance in the microbial flora of the digestive tract, including an unhealthy diet, inadequate digestive enzymes, oral contraceptives, and the use of various prescription and OTC drugs. Increasing recognition is also being given in women's health to the relationship between gut flora and vaginal flora; i.e., a healthy balance of gut flora has corresponding benefit to the vaginal flora.
Fatty acids have been used for centuries to help maintain a healthy balance of the microorganisms that normally live in the gastrointestinal tract. In the last 50 years, fatty acids have demonstrated effectiveness in supporting a healthy gut flora in a number of studies.
Undecylenic acid (10-undecenoic acid) is an eleven-carbon, mono-unsaturated fatty acid occurring naturally in the body's perspiration. While several fatty acids have beneficial effects on the flora that naturally inhabit the gastrointestinal tract, undecylenic acid is the most potent.
A Thorne Research innovation, Formula SF722 contains undecylenic acid in a base of pure, extra-virgin olive oil. Formula SF722 aids in the establishment of healthy gut and vaginal flora and has been one of Thorne Research's best-selling products for over two decades.

I started off very slowly on this product because I was wary of possible die off effects. One cap once a day, then one cap twice a day, then one cap three times a day, then two caps once a day plus another one cap twice a day, etc. Now I'm up to two caps three times daily. Although I felt some side effects on the first two caps such as fatigue and mental fogginess, this only lasted a couple of days. I started on a weekend so that any die off effects would not interfere with my work schedule. So far the SF722 has been great. I have noticed greatly improved breathing and reduced mucus production (somehow my intestinal problems have affected sinuses and breathing) since starting SF722. And craving sweet food has disappeared. I'm also doing my best to support my liver, as another commenter mentioned, by drinking a cup of dandelion coffee (technically it's tea, but it tastes and smells almost exactly like coffee) each day, along with plenty of water. The dandelion has been a great help - I feel immediately better afterward. Plus I'm taking Intestive, acidophilus and digestive enzymes (animal-derived pancreatin, not mold-derived enzymes). So far it all seems to be working well together.
Many, many times more effective than Caprylic acid. I believe it is something like 300x more concentrated - so don't bother taking ANYTHING with caprylic acid in - head straight for this product. Great value for what it is. Yes there may be a little die off to begin with, but that is how you know you finally have something that will really do the job. And, unlike so many other products - some of which do admittedly work such as oregano oil - there is NO negative effect on the other good flora and bacteria of the gut.
This product really works, but

Theres only one drawback : its very potent and & ''synthetic'' in the way it works, so for many people ( including ) this can cause slight irritation of the skin and eyes. Really does the job well for candida. Should be combined with something that has some anti-bacterial properties as well ( ex coconut oil, oregano oil, etc ).

This is the best antifungal available at the moment. The key is to drink lots of water, sweat using shower or far red sauna. Take a lot of Vitamin C and molybdenum glycinate to keep herx reaction in control. Also take a good multistrain probiotic with 20 Billion CFUs or more.
Best thing for candida

After doing some research, I used a combination of supplements and techniques to strengthen my gut flora and improve HCL status etc. I believe that this product made the biggest impact out of everything.
