California Gold Nutrition

This is the only protein powder that has never given me bloat or a feeling of fullness , so if I need or want an extra hit of protein between meals or after training I’m still ready for my next meal !

Thanks for your feedback!

tastes good

tastes goooooooooooooood, and sells cheap.

Thanks for your feedback!

nothing artificial

Posted by iHerb Customer on Nov 10, 2017 | Verified Purchase

Non GMO, US sourced, nothing but whey isolate and sunflower lecithin, and probably the easiest mixing protein powder I've ever used. It has a lot going for it. Tastes kind of odd, though, but nothing that a teaspoon of coconut oil or Manuka honey can't fix.

Thanks for your feedback!

I prefer pure flavour over artificial flavours

Good protein and the taste is good too. For those that don't like the taste of pure protein I recommend sprinkling your shakes with a dash of cinnamon to taste.

Impressive degree of purity

Posted by iHerb Customer on Nov 05, 2017 | Verified Purchase

That's probably the purest protein I've ever bought (at least if I believe what is written on the package, keeping in mind that made-in-US supplements are often fraudulent), and it was quite cheap. I think I'll buy it again. I also like unflavoured whey, with just whey and nothing else, but for some reason this one tastes really awful (some kind of cardboard taste, which remains in your mouth afterwards). Another good point is that we kind of know where it is from. But on the other hand we know that it comes from cheese-making by-products (so the proteins have been exposed to acids and are supposed to be of lower quality than if their separation was purely physical).
