I'm so sad that iHerb stopped selling real sriracha, but this is a surprisingly decent substitute. I was skeptical because McCormick is a huge company, and they tend to focus on dry spices. I didn't think that sriracha would work as a dry spice, but I think it's a decent use case! It's definitely more portable given the compact size, but it packs a punch. I like to put it on fried chicken. Still, in terms of scratching a spicy sauce, it doesn't cut it. But the good thing is that the quality is decent and it's plenty spicy.

I like the taste of this but honestly it doesn’t remind me much of sriracha sauce. It just tastes like powdered pepper but with more of a salty/vinegary kick. It’s a nice spicy seasoning substitute for dishes where you don’t want to add a liquidy hot sauce to them though so I am finding it useful. The one thing I really hate about this brand is that they are very vague and unclear about their ingredients. I think all companies should be honest about everything they put in their products and that customers have a right to know the full ingredients for allergy or any other dietary reasons, so the fact that this company is secretive about their ingredients bothers me a lot.
