Rewarded Review

The journey into natural deodorants is not a pleasant one, especially on the nose, and the self-consciousness about said smell. And I have been on this journey for more than 6 months now. I have just about given up, I have tried so many natural deodorants, each for a month or so (less if I really couldn't stand it, and there were some...). The Thinksport natural deodorant was the only decent deodorant in the large selection of tested deodorants, but I did not love the Bergamot Cedarwood scent. So I tried this scent, the Aloe & Tea Flowers, and let me tell you, my journey has found its destination. I really love the Aloe & Tea Flowers scent, it's so fresh. After the first week of using it I was about to shout off the rooftops that this is not only the best natural deodorant I have used, but one of the best deodorants, period. But after a week it seemed like it lost its magic, and only lasted a few hours after applying. Plus, the smell. You know the smell. However I kept on using and it seems that my body found the right equilibrium with this deodorant, and now it holds up for many hours. No smell, even in the evening. Let's start with the myth, no deodorant really lasts 24 hours. At least not for me. But if I put it in the morning and by the evening I can smell my armpits and not cringe, I think it's a win, and probably the best one can hope for. Also, I've used this deodorant in July-August, where the temperature is usually 30-36 Celscuis during the day, so if it works now, it will even be better come winter. A few tips for those who bothered reading so far: (1) Use a scrub on your armpits. Deodorant (any deodorant, not just natural deodorants) works better on clean armpits. No need for a specialty scrub, any mild scrub you use for your face should work fine. (2) When there's a strong smell, after the shower, I put on body lotion. Applying the lotion on the armpits and then apply talcum powder on the armpits (when it's still sticky from the lotion). This combination really helps getting rid of foul smell in the armpits, when it does occur. No need to do this daily, only when needed.
