GREAT if toasted - like wheatina

I found this a little bland until I toasted it, and then it was a 5 star cereal. I "toasted" it in a frying pan over medium heat, stirring to toast evenly. Did not put anything in the pan except wheat farina. After toasting, I stored it in a mason jar until ready to cook for breakfast. It cooks just fine in the microwave as long as it is not covered. I guess I cook it for about 6 minutes- maybe less. 1/4 c . wheatina to 3/4 c water. A little salt and it's really good!

Microwave cooking instruction does not work at all

The instruction on the back of the package for cooking this on a microwave does not work at all. If you follow it, your microwave will be a mess. While the instruction says, "Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-1/2 minutes," the mixture of water and Whole Wheat Farina boils over in 30 seconds or so. I wonder if they actually tried it before printing it on the package. The product itself is great, but you have to cook it on a stoveup.
