I got a severe kidney infection that nearly killed me while pregnant with my eldest child many years ago. The infection weakened my kidneys and I've had frequent and unpredictable pain in my kidneys since then. I had tried all the recommendations, nothing helped, I just had to get through it. I came across this formula a few years ago and decided to give it a try. I use this for acute pain, so it's not something I use every day - but there have been days when I've used it 2-3 in a single day. For my kidney pain, it alleviates the discomfort WITHIN 30 SECONDS, not exaggerating, I've counted. Imagine having a severe muscle spasm and then it suddenly released and relaxes, that's what this does for my kidneys. I don't count out the 15 drop dosage when this happens, I just disperse a full dropper directly into my mouth. Excellent formula and so effective. I will never be without it.
I'm a fan of Christopher's formulas since they don't contain any fillers, and the company is old. The taste and composition of this particular tincture are both good. I notice that it makes it feel better to do a number 1 after taking it. Also, it feels like I get more out, so I do think it's working. With most tinctures, the effect is subtle. As for the package, it lasts a while and has a long shelf life. Typically, I can get 2-3 runs from a single bottle.
I put 15 drops in a spoon to keep the dropper clean. You can work up to 30 drops. The herbal formula has mild taste. Supports urinary system, Kidney, and Bladder. Over half the ingredients are Organic. A nice Dr. Christopher formula for our Kidneys. Kidneys work for us every day. Thank them.
I got this and Nature's Way Kidney Bladder caps (similar ingredients). Thought the liquid would be better absorbed - but kept forgetting to take it - so moved on to the caps and they are helping. Incidentally, I'm in the UK. This order was lower priced, delivered faster and with lower shipping costs than if I'd bought it in the UK.
This tincture contains organic or wild crafted herbs or fruit that show kidney supporting or protecting properties. The leading ingredient is juniper berry (which can also be found in gin) and has been shown to benefit kidney health. I use this tincture mainly in times of increased stress to protect my kidneys against the deleterious effect of excessive oxidative stress.
