The material is just like neoprene! I was a bit suspicious it looked like my scuba suit but reviews were good so I took the leap. It's just rough neoprene. Meh. The body gloves from another brand (I forget which one) feels so much more luxurious and effective. The reach of gloves is better too (I'm not hopelessly inflexible). This one is SO HUGE it feels unwieldy to use. It's so thick it's like half my back! (I'm 5'5"). Regret the purchase but it's so expensive I'll try to use it until it wears out. But I'm purchasing the body gloves again!
