A good natural quality source of calcium and magnesium for bone protection, bone growth, repair and strength, muscle contraction, blood clotting and metabolism.
Traditional cultures ate grains only after processing them by sprouting, soaking, and/or sour leavening (sourdough). This preparation removed anti-nutrients and break down complex food molecules contained in all grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes. These anti-nutrients include phytic acid, lectins, complex sugars, gluten, tannin, and more. They not only block the absorption of food nutrients, but also have the potential to irritate the intestinal tract over months and years and lead to SIBO or IBS.
Use limewater made with dolomite powder to soak and hull the grain. This process can greatly benefit in reducing phytic acid and substantially increase the nutritional profile of the grain and the availability of various nutrients if done properly, which is a great improvement. It gives the grain a slightly acidic taste so you need to rinse it thoroughly.
Great Calcium Magnesium supplement in the perfect Cal/Mag ratios, Our whole family takes a small amount every day with great results, good value for money and a fully natural land based source, I thought Dolomite was only for the garden before we found and am very happy to have found this product, we add it in oatmeal and cannot not notice it is there.
This powder mixed with vit. C in boiling water makes the Vit. C absorbable and usable. It's so much better than taking 100 pills/week. We simply mix 1 heaping tsp Vit. C powder in the boiling water with 3/4 tsp dolomite. After stirring while it fumes and fizzes, we add fruit juice (tastes better than the "chalk"). Drinking it gives us between 5-10 GRAMS of Vit C. which does wonders for the immune system, fingernails, skin and hair.
I use it for mouth rinse rather than a calcium supplement. Dolomite contributes to the development and maintenance of bones and teeth, normal muscle function and supports the maintenance of good health. Calcium intake, when combined with sufficient Vitamin D3, a healthy diet and regular exercise, may reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis. It supports muscle funtion and the development of healthy bones and teeth.
