This was the first time for me to use henna, but once I figured out the consistency of the henna, it was easy and gave me the amazing result. I used the Dark Brown to cover the grey hair. The application was easy, and it didn't give me any irritation on my scalp. I will keep using the Light Mountain products in the future.
Great high quality alternative to chemical hair colours. The composition is 100% natural and organic plant hair colour. Has benefit also as a conditioner, makes the hair healthier and thicker, the same goes for the sensitive scalp, has moisturizing effect on it. The package size is enough for one usage for a long hair and twice for short. The usage can be a little messy and takes longer time to sit on the hair to get the effect, better in the warm sunny weather. After the colouring the colour develops on the hair during a couple of days and is beautiful! :)
This is the only henna I use on my hair now. There are so many choices out there, but most of them seem to contain harmful chemicals. This brand offers a good selection of colours and simplifies the henna dying process, as well as being transparent about the ingredients. It also comes with gloves and a cap, which is quite handy. I also invested in some ear covers, which are tiny shower caps that stop henna from going inside your ear canal. I learnt my lesson after pulling brown dye out of my ears for months! So yeah, my favourite brand. Others I've tried in the past were hit-and-miss, this one provides good results every time.
Light Mountain Natural Hair Color & Conditioner is a plant-based hair dye made from henna and other botanicals, which may help color and condition the hair without harsh chemicals. As with any hair dye or cosmetic product, it's important to perform a patch test and follow the instructions carefully.
Light Mountain's Dark Brown Henna comes well-packaged in a clear plastic bag inside a sturdy cardboard box. Pure henna can only turn hair red, but because this mixture has other herb powders, too, the total effect is a dark brown. The only downside is that the indigo that makes it color dark can sometimes overwhelm the henna and make hair (especially thin or damaged strands) a cool, almost bluish tone instead of a rich warm brown. The scent is rather strong when it's wet, but it doesn't stay in the hair after washing once or twice.
I love this product: Its composition is natural, powder that gently tint hair and cover grey hair. It works and my grey hair turn to my natural color (this is what I choose) for weeks, even if I wash often my hair. Also this powder obviously strengthens my hair that look really healthy, thicker and stronger after I use it.
I have used Light Mountain henna on and off for years. You get a lot of mixed henna powder for the package size and the quality has consistently been good. I use some essential oil to tone down the "hay scent" that natural plant dye has. I use the dark brown to mix with the medium for more brown tones.
