Love this stuff! I made Rice pudding using 30 calorie vanilla unsweetened almond milk and sugar free vanilla pudding. Before making it, just rinse off the rice and cook off the excess moisture in a pan about 5 minutes. I follow the directions on the pudding box mix - using a little less milk than it calls for, and add the rice while it's still warm. It soaks up some of the liquid and add cinnamon. Delicious, low cal, low fat, low carb!!! AND it actually has fiber!

I substitute it for rice when I make fried rice. Tip: Try mixing a little bit of real rice when and using miracle rice for the rest. You won't be able to taste the difference. The package is just nice for one serving. Would be good if they come in larger sizes. I always have issues with digesting konjac and can suffer from indigestion at times. Not particular to this product but something to note if you are not aware of the ingredients or have never tried miracle rice/shirataki noodles.

A good substitution especially when making fried rice! Although it tastes different from real rice, it goes well with other ingredients The only point is DON'T fridge it! The 'rice' stuck together because I froze it...

This is tricky. I lose a bunch while draining the water. The ingredients are safe and the quality is good. The package size is good too, basically single serving. It doesn't taste like anything and the texture is awkward. I'm not sure really how to use it. I like that it's low calories.

What's nice about these Shirataki noodles is that you're full after eating a smallish bowl of them - yet have eaten no calories from them. The noodle taste itself is nothing to write home about - the taste is all going to come from your spaghetti sauce or other seasoning. The noodles are different from others in that they are harder, more rubbery. But they can probably not be beat as a weight loss aid.

The most important thing I wanted to mention was that it definitely tastes nothing like rice, or has the same texture. It basically has no flavour whatsoever and takes on the flavour of whatever you add to it. You can make a great stir-fry dish for example, and the rice would just take on whatever flavour you put. Use and Quality: A great tip I found that always works for me was to rinse it thoroughly (shirataki is preserved in a fishy-smelling liquid), then completely dry it out on a frying pan. It'll completely remove the scent and be usable in any recipe of your choosing.

I hated the angel hair pasta because the texture felt a lot like plastic maybe because it was too thin. This was actually not bad. It definitely doesn't taste or feel like rice but works well as a soft grain like texture to absorb other flavours and add volume to food (I cooked it with mushrooms and onions for example)

Well, I made baked spaghetti and it turned out amazing!! After you open the Noodles you will smell a fishy scent. Once you boil the Noodles the fishy smell goes away completely.
