ALA acid is great for free radicals and oxidative prevention. The price is reasonable and capsules are quite small, so this is easy to take it. There is no taste and after taste, I just take it on an empty stomach 1-3 times a day. Great Support for Metabolic Maintenance. Thanks for reading.
Using this as a great part of my supplement regimen in living with PCOS. it has definitely helped!!
*PS, i know you guys know, but make sure you seek professional healthcare advice for your own conditions (be it PCOS or not). This just worked for me based on my specific needs!:)
A 100mg of ALA is not much if you use it as an antioxydant and immunity booster. But beaware for in case you should have "silver" fillings in your teeth! Then ALA is toxic. First remove the mercury fillings and then you can start chelating out the mercury with ALA or emeramide.
We are satisfied with this product so far, as we don't see any side effects such as stomach acidity after taking it so i believe it is of good quality. We take it against Epstein Barr virus since recently, hoping it will help get rid of it, together with some other supplements.
People most commonly use alpha-lipoic acid for nerve pain in people with diabetes. It is also used for obesity, altitude sickness, aging skin, high levels of cholesterol or other fats in the blood, and many other purposes, A few studies have suggested that alpha-lipoic acid supplements may enhance the body's ability to use its own insulin to lower blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes.
The quality and packaging is perfect.
Alpha-lipoic acid is an organic compound found in all human cells.
It’s made inside the mitochondrion. It helps enzymes turn nutrients into energy.
Alpha-lipoic acid is both water- and fat-soluble, which allows it to work in every cell or tissue in the body. Meanwhile, most other antioxidants are either water- or fat-soluble.
However, it isn't relief like what Tylenol or insulin would provide. It's just one of many supplements, diet and medication routines.
Alpha-lipoic acid has strong antioxidant properties, which may reduce inflammation and skin aging, promote healthy nerve function, lower heart disease risk factors, and slow the progression of memory loss disorders.
