We love Nordic naturals, however, these do not taste good when chewed as indicated. All fish, no strawberry. Don’t get it on your clothes, very difficult to get the fish smell out. We have tried the lemon of this brand as well as other brands which taste lovely. These are not very tastey. My one year old daughter loves them (not sure why) but my 6 year old son doesn't like them so I puncture 2 and sneak them into his peanutbutter banana smoothie daily--and they can't be detected. Really they can't be detected in peanut butter alone on a sandwich, say. The good news is that I can tell after about 2-3 days that he is calmer and more cognitively aware. Great product and much better pace than at Whole Foods. The bad news is the price. I wish they cost less but I suppose we get what we pay for! I hope my review will be helpful. I have not yet figured out why, but everyone asks to put a "like" in their reviews, so I will also ask you to "like" my review.
Use & frequency: My son (age 7), takes this three times daily instead of 2 because of the serving size and the recommended serving size for his age. Benefit: Very satisfied with the result. It was highly recommended by reliable health mags that I follow and good thing I bought this one. It really helped improve my son's focus which is one of the benefits of DHA. Will definitely order again. Package: Secured and clean.
I really like Nordic Naturals and I have been looking for an omega that my kids will like. Nordic Naturals is always good quality. My kids like the taste of the strawberry flavor and they are 6 and 9. It is nice that the bottle has 45 servings, many only have enough for 30. It is sometimes hard for me to get them to take two a day, but I feel that they are getting enough with one. Would recommend.
A high quality product from a very reliable company. it was bought for my kid and have used it. package is good and the size as well. it is a recommended supplement for improving the brain health and mood in the children. the ingredient is derived from fish oil. i didn't receive any complaint on the taste
My 10 year old can’t swallow them but will chew them and spit out the shell. The taste is ok he says and doesn’t complain. We give to him to help control seizer and also a little bit of ADHA etc. it works good and is a nice high dose. We get these because the ingredients are high quality based on what we can find and read. A lot of other brands have stuff in them that we don’t like so we will keep buying these. :)
Good quality supplement for young age kids. Didn't have any problems with the serving amount or size, considering the every day use. The taste is neutral, so is the scent. Good and not harmful ingredients. I love the benefits and the effect, I see improvements every time we have it. The package is quite convenient.
I love the the liquid version of the kids DHA and have been giving it to my kids for a while now. Unfortunately cause we keep it in the fridge (out of sight out of mjnd?) we sometimes miss out giving it to them. Have decided to try this for it’s convenience, great that it’s the same quality ingredients.
I read a lot about the benefits of fish oil when I was pregnant and started taking it for myself. Now my kids have been taking these supplements once a day since they were 5 years old. They love them and are easy to use. The taste is mild with top quality ingredients.
These capsules are small enough in size for my 7 & 9 year old to swallow with ease. My 5y/o won’t swallow pills & so he chewed these and did not like the taste. They smell great! We homeschool and I haven’t noticed a huge difference in focus, but there wasn’t a big problem there to begin with. I do think it has helped them with better quality sleep.
My son loves taking these capsules. He definitely loves the fruity taste and also the size of the capsule is apt for kids. It’s designed according to age and improves the mood. My kid definitely felt the difference after taking them for a week. The package is neat. The quality is good and doesn’t give the fishy smell which is a hit👍🏻
I ordered this Omega for a teenage daughter. Active growth and development are taking place now, so I try to give her vitamins in addition to good nutrition. Omega-3 is written about Omega. Children are straightforward! Omega provides the body with energy, is necessary for the brain, also if there is a sufficient amount of Omega-3 in the body, then there will be no problems with vision, in general I will order more, that's for sure!
