A cost effective L-lysine. 1g tabs, means they are quite large but at the same time you don't have to take a handful of pills. I use it for cold sores. 6 a day when I'm having an outbreak. Or just 1 or 2 a day when I feel I might get it. Anyhow, a goof choice if you need lysine
