Rewarded Review

my regular cold season purchase is a supplement with plant ceramides, helping to strengthen and nourish the skin from the inside out. This includes an oil extract of phytoceramides derived from wheat. The components that stimulate the production of ceramides in the skin are found in food, but sometimes this is not enough, so supplements that have a proven effect on increasing this component in the skin, which helps to increase moisture (retention of moisture in the deep layers of the skin), strengthen the skin barrier and reduce sensitivity come to the rescue. Typically, such supplements contain phytoceramides derived from wheat, rice and other plants. Ceramides are produced in the skin, and their production is facilitated by components that we get from food, e.g. eggs and soy contain sphingolipids, which are involved in the synthesis of ceramides. Unfortunately, as we age, their quantity in the skin decreases, and exposure to sun, cold or dry air, the use of inappropriate, harsh or irritating cosmetics contributes to their reduction, change in structure and decrease in efficiency, the cells on the surface of the skin lose the "cement" that binds them together, which reduces the integrity of the protective layer, the skin cannot normally retain moisture, and its permeability increases, making it more vulnerable to external influences. Sensitivity increases, redness increases, the skin may react negatively to any, even relatively safe product (or even just to touch or temperature difference), various dermatitis appear, it becomes rough to the touch, wrinkles and lines appear.
